P.A.Kosach bought here a piece of land and homestead in 1879. In 1882 Kosach family settled here for permanent residence. Lesja Ukrainka lived here until the end of 1896, and despite the long leave, Kolodiazhne felt at home. In subsequent years, she happened here only hit.
