The house on the Kuznechna (= Forger’s) street (now Antonovych street) No. 36 was remembered for haved lived here M. P. Dragomanov in January 1876 (before leaving for emigration). O. P. Kosach with his children Michael and Lesja came to say goodbye to him. They were all present at a farewell evening in late January. February 1, 1876 M. P. Dragomanov left Kyiv and never returned here.

It should be noted that a M. P. Dragomanov’s longtime friend, a Ukrainian historian V. B. Antonovych, lived in the house number 40. This building was demolished and a production building in the style of Brezhnev military-industrial constructivism was built in its place.
