May 21 (June 3), 1902. Lesja Ukrainka left Genoa to Odessa by steamer "Entella". On May 22 (June 4) the steamer arrived in Livorno, on May 24 (June 6) – in Naples. Lesia Ukrainka used a stop in Naples to visit the ruins of the ancient Roman town Pompeii.

On May 25 (June 7) the steamer arrived in Palermo, on May 27 (June 9) – in Messina, on May 29 (June 11) – in Catania. Then he went to Piraeus, Smyrna and Constantinople. On June 7, 1902, Lesja Ukrainka arrived in Odessa, and on June 10 – to Kyiv.
